Enrollment
Currently, 393 young men and women, in grades 9 through 12, are enrolled at SJND. SJND students come from over 27 public, independent and Catholic schools. 38 percent of our students live in Alameda, 28 percent live in Oakland, 23 percent live in the San Leandro area and the remaining students live in the other areas throughout the greater East Bay.
Matriculation Graduates of SJND are well-prepared and were accepted at some of the top universities in the country. 2004-2007 College Acceptance List.
Faculty The faculty comprises 30 men and women with a median of 11 years of teaching experience. Two-thirds of the faculty holds advanced degrees in their field.

Calendar The school year is divided into two 18-week terms, each of which offers some 85 different courses. Classes meet five days a week, Monday through Friday.
Financial Aid Approximately 35 percent of students receive financial assistance.
Campus SJND shares a campus with Saint Joseph Parish and Saint Joseph Elementary School. The high school has four main buildings nestled amid lawns, tree-lined walkways, and picnic-style gathering spaces for students. The recently renovated gymnasium boasts state of the art sound and lighting systems, a new floor, and new bleachers. SJND is also home to the Anthony V. Aiello Science Center. Each classroom in the science center offers distributed sound, laptop computers and overhead projection, digital recording equipment, and lighting controls to create the best learning environment for students.
